Women are often encouraged to listen to their bodies, yet being heard when something feels wrong can be another matter entirely. For wellness entrepreneur Korin Korman, that distinction became deeply personal nearly five years ago, when an OBGYN took her concerns seriously and encouraged further investigation.

The decision led to an early diagnosis of uterine cancer. Korin subsequently received care from gynecologic oncology specialists at Jefferson Health, Penn Medicine, and Mount Sinai. Although the experience altered the course of her life, it also led her to a question that would eventually shape her next venture: why do so many aspects of women’s gynecologic and intimate well-being remain difficult to discuss?

When Being Heard Changed Everything

In sharing her experience publicly, Korin does not minimize its impact. “Nearly five years ago, I was diagnosed with uterine cancer,” she writes in her official founder story . “It was an experience that changed me in ways I never anticipated.”

Her diagnosis came at an early stage. She credits the physician who listened to her intuition, examined her concerns closely, and supported further testing. That moment gave Korin a new understanding of what attentive women’s healthcare can make possible.

It also led her into conversations with physicians, specialists, and women at different stages of life. The more she listened, the more clearly she recognized how frequently gynecologic and vaginal-wellness concerns were being experienced without open discussion. “Women deserve better options, better information, and products designed with both science and compassion at their core,” she writes.

A Career Built Across Wellness and Medical Aesthetics

Korin’s move into women’s intimate wellness did not begin with a sudden interest in a growing category. It emerged from a career spanning more than three decades across botanical skincare, medical aesthetics, and integrative health. She is the founder and CEO of Body+Beauty Lab, a medical-aesthetics company operating in Bay Harbor Islands, West Palm Beach, Philadelphia, and Radnor. Its team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, plastic surgeons, and licensed medical aestheticians.

The company’s services range from advanced facial and laser treatments to injectables, skin rejuvenation, hair restoration, body treatments, and integrative health offerings. Its model emphasizes individualized assessment, combining aesthetic technology with attention to each client’s skin characteristics and broader wellness needs.

That combination of botanical thinking and clinical care has become a defining thread throughout Korin’s work. She has drawn from both perspectives to explore how wellness can be effective, personalized, and approachable.

Advocating for Higher Standards in Medical Aesthetics

Korin has also used her industry experience to address safety within medical aesthetics. As the medspa sector has expanded, differences in practitioner training, medical expertise, and clinical supervision have become increasingly important.

In its 2026 wellness trends coverage, American Spa highlighted Korin’s call for “a renewed focus on patient safety, professional training, and clinical accountability.” Her position reflects an important principle behind her broader career: innovation should be supported by responsibility.

New treatments and growing consumer interest may move an industry forward, but trust continues to depend on informed professionals, appropriate supervision, and standards that place the individual receiving care first.

Creating More Open Conversations About Women’s Wellness

Korin’s newest venture, GINA, brings that philosophy into women’s intimate wellness. She created the company after her cancer experience and the conversations that followed, positioning vaginal comfort as an important part of everyday well-being rather than something that feels difficult to discuss.

The brand’s principal product, Vaginal Moisturizing Glides, consists of individually portioned solid inserts made with extra-virgin, unrefined, cold-pressed coconut oil. According to the product information, the glides contain no hormones, fillers, artificial fragrances, or dyes. They are refrigerated until solid and designed to melt naturally through body heat after insertion.

The broader vision behind GINA also extends beyond the product itself. Its modern, non-clinical presentation encourages women to view intimate hydration as part of the same everyday conversation as skincare and personal wellness. By making the language surrounding intimate care more approachable, Korin hopes to help women feel more comfortable acknowledging concerns and seeking appropriate support.

Recognition Across Beauty, Business and Women’s Wellness

Korin’s entrepreneurial journey has received attention across business, beauty, and wellness media. The Wharton School’s alumni magazine also featured her development of Scan Our Skin, a facial-imaging platform created to assess visible skin characteristics and support more personalized care.

Wellness Master Club explored her latest venture in Why the Future of Women’s Wellness Is a Return to Basics. The publication highlighted GINA’s approach within the estimated $30 billion intimate-care market, focusing on its emphasis on simplified formulations, thoughtful product design, and more open conversations about vaginal comfort.

Her work has also been profiled by Modern Luxury, which examined Body+Beauty Lab’s evolution toward integrated aesthetics and wellness, while Authority Magazine interviewed her about clean beauty and botanical-focused entrepreneurship. Her career was further explored on Uncorked: Wine, Business, and Life, and her move into intimate wellness became the subject of the 2026 podcast episode “Legacy of Vaginal Comfort.”

Turning Personal Experience Into Purpose

Korin Korman’s career has taken her through different areas of the wellness industry, but her newest chapter carries particular personal significance. Her experience demonstrated what can happen when a woman’s concerns are heard. Listening to other women then revealed how many intimate concerns still remain unspoken.

GINA reflects that experience and the conversations that followed, bringing together professional knowledge, personal perspective, and a commitment to making women’s intimate wellness easier to discuss.

For Korin, being heard changed more than the outcome of one medical appointment. It influenced what she chose to build next and created another way for her to support women seeking information, comfort, and confidence in their health.
