She sits at the centre of The MenoPharm, bringing together clinical expertise, pharmacist-led menopause care, and compassionate coaching, democratising menopause knowledge and awareness among women everywhere.

Though it’s always incredible to learn about professionals who do exceptionally well in their fields, it’s even more surreal to learn about a few rare gems who work tirelessly for a genuine cause, going ahead in transforming their chosen niches. It’s also essential to shed more light on such thought leaders and highly driven professionals who work towards a bigger purpose, bringing about positive change in society through everything they choose to lay their hands on. This is precisely what Suzi Rose has been doing consistently with her efforts to change the menopause conversation and democratise information and knowledge among women everywhere.

With decades of experience in oncology pharmacy, Suzi Rose is combining clinical expertise, menopause education, and compassionate coaching through The MenoPharm to help women make informed choices about their health. She explains how, for generations, menopause has been one of the most misunderstood stages of a woman’s life. Although every woman experiences it in some form, conversations around it have often remained confined to whispered discussions, brief medical appointments, or advice passed between friends. Yet menopause goes beyond being just occasional hot flushes or disrupted sleep; it’s a major hormonal transition that can affect physical health, emotional wellbeing, confidence, relationships, and long-term quality of life.

Among the many healthcare professionals working to change this narrative is Suzi Rose, a specialist oncology pharmacist whose career has been dedicated to supporting women through some of life’s most challenging moments. She has spent more than 20 years caring for breast cancer patients. She thus could recognise another gap that deserved greater attention, about women navigating treatment-induced menopause and those struggling to find clear, evidence-based guidance during natural menopause. This very realisation led her to create The MenoPharm, a pharmacist-led menopause service combining clinical expertise with personalised coaching. It gives women the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

Suzi Rose’s professional journey has always remained centred around caring for women. Working as a specialist oncology pharmacist across both the NHS and private healthcare allowed her to witness the medical challenges faced by breast cancer patients as well as the significant impact that hormonal changes had on their everyday lives. Many women found themselves dealing with menopause as a result of their treatment, often while trying to process a cancer diagnosis and recovery at the same time. These experiences reinforced the importance of clear communication, evidence-based care, and healthcare professionals who truly listen. Over the years, Suzi began to see menopause not as a condition to be endured but as an important stage of life that deserved the same level of research, clinical attention, and personalised care as many other areas of medicine.

She didn’t build The MenoPharm overnight. She pursued specialist menopause qualifications while also completing coaching training. Much of that learning happened in the evenings and on weekends, balancing professional responsibilities with family life. Another unexpected challenge came with social media, which, in her words, was a new space for her. Recording educational videos and sharing health information online was far removed from the structured environment of clinical practice. However, it was her three daughters who encouraged her to embrace that discomfort. They helped her navigate technology and build confidence, and they reminded her that many women could benefit from hearing reliable menopause advice presented in an accessible way.

She is also the one who, at an important stage in her professional journey, chose purpose over prestige by investing in building The MenoPharm rather than accepting an offer to work at a prestigious private hospital on London’s Harley Street. Through The MenoPharm, she continues to advocate for a future where women receive the personalised, evidence-based menopause care they deserve.

As conversations around menopause continue to gain momentum, healthcare professionals like Suzi Rose hope that greater awareness will lead to lasting change not just in better treatments but also in improved research, workplace understanding, and public education.
